Bud’s Run 5k Walk/Run 6/27/09

Bud’s Run is a memorial run for Bud Swanson. Bud coached girls’ cross-country at Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream for 18 years.
It will be taking place in Carol Stream, IL. The race is a timed/chipped race where you can run or walk the 5k. Sign up here!: http://www.budsrun.org/

All proceeds from this race will be given to the Sarcoma Foundation of America to fund research to find new and better therapies with which to treat patients with sarcoma.

It’s nice to have an event where people will raise money towards the type of cancer that I have (Nick Schmidt). The CEO of Sarcoma Foundation of America, Matthew Alsante, will be there to support.

Hopefully we will get to see him because we are pleased to announce that we have an agreement with the Sarcoma Foundation of America.

Members attending: Bahar Mallah will be running the 5k. Nick Schmidt maybe walking or watching, but still going to show support!
