How we Started

During Thanksgiving weekend of 2008. Bahar took a trip to Baltimore to spend the holiday with her family. Other than eating a lot of food like all other families on Thanksgiving day, her family got together and ran a 5k. The 5k was called the Turkey Trot. During the race she wore Nick Schmidt’s F.S.R. t- shirt to show support of his fight against cancer with Faith Success Recovery on Schmult.com.

After this event she started to sign up for more cancer fundraising events. One event required her to sign up with a team. So she asked Nick Schmidt, “What team should I sign up for?” He said, “TeamSchmult.com”. They both felt the spark of a new website idea to launch for anyone who is going through cancer or any sickness/disease.

TeamSchmult.com’s mission is to have a team that improves quality of life. Our improvements are through attitude, strength, exercise and friendships. We are a team that inspires, helps, supports each other over any down fall or anyone that is affected directly or indirectly with or without cancer. We overcome any weakness, sickness or disease. We do this with Faith, Success & Recovery (F.S.R.).
